Title 16 › Chapter 77— YUKON RIVER SALMON › Subchapter II— CONSERVATION AND MANAGEMENT › § 5726
The Secretary of the Interior, working with the Secretary of Commerce, may run projects to restore or improve salmon that come from the Yukon River in Canada and the United States. If the United States and Canada have a conservation agreement in force that covers these projects, then the projects must follow that agreement. Any money for the projects must be spent the way the agreement requires and can be put into any joint account the agreement creates to pay for them.
