Title 16 › Chapter 81A— NATIONAL FOREST ORGANIZATIONAL CAMP FEE IMPROVEMENT › § 6236
Routine approval or simple changes to a special-use permit for an organizational camp do not need review under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). That exception only applies if the approval or change will not change the land or the camp’s activities, facilities, or programs, and at least one of these is true: the permit is transferred to a new holder; a new permit is given to the same holder when the old one ends; or the change is only administrative (like a fee change or switching forms) or adds mandatory environmental rules or updates the permit to follow current law.
