Park officers may take and hold guns, traps, horses, teams, or any means of transportation used to kill, trap, or capture wild animals inside the parks while a person is prosecuted under sections 57, 58, and 60–65. If the person is convicted, the United States keeps the property as an extra penalty, and the Secretary of the Interior will handle its disposal and accounting.
