Title 16 › Chapter 6— GAME AND BIRD PRESERVES; PROTECTION › § 673
A winter elk reserve will be set up in Wyoming south of Yellowstone Park. It must include at least 2,000 acres in township 41 north, ranges 115 and 116 west. The Secretary of the Interior may buy those lands and any buildings on them, build needed buildings and fences, and spend money to keep the reserve going. The Secretary may also add and fence up to 1,000 acres of unused public land next to the reserve, and any additions must follow public land survey lines.
