Title 16 › Chapter 87— FEDERAL LANDS RECREATION ENHANCEMENT › § 6804a
Encourages the Secretaries to work with States and counties so people can buy a Federal pass, a State pass, and a local pass in one purchase. Covered passes include the America the Beautiful pass (the National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass named in section 6804) and any State or county pass that charges fees for park or public land entry and use. After consulting with States and counties, the Secretaries may make agreements to do this. Any agreement must make sure state and local pass money goes to the right State agency or county, federal pass money goes to the right Federal agency, and all transfers for passes sold during a fiscal year are completed by the end of that fiscal year.
