§6855 Cooperation and Coordination

Summary

Allows the Secretaries to make agreements with outside groups to do any part of the chapter's work. They must work with the Director of the United States Geological Survey to collect, combine, digitize, standardize, or publish data for the Secretaries so the chapter's requirements are met.

(a)The Secretaries may enter into an agreement with a third party to carry out any provision of this chapter.
(b)The Secretaries shall work with the Director of the United States Geological Survey to collect, aggregate, digitize, standardize, or publish data on behalf of the Secretaries to meet the requirements of this chapter.
