Title 16 › Chapter 6— GAME AND BIRD PRESERVES; PROTECTION › § 698j
The Secretary must allow hunting, fishing, and trapping on lands and waters he manages in the preserve and the Addition under U.S. and Florida law. He may close places or times for safety, management, or to protect plants, animals, or public enjoyment, but must first consult the State agency except in emergencies. Members of the Miccosukee and Seminole tribes of Florida may continue their customary use, including subsistence hunting, fishing, trapping, and ceremonies, under reasonable rules set by the Secretary.
