Title 16 › Chapter 6— GAME AND BIRD PRESERVES; PROTECTION › § 698u–2
Create the Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve to protect, restore, and explain the Spring Hill Ranch area of the Flint Hills in Kansas for people now and in the future. The Preserve includes land and land rights totaling approximately 10,894 acres shown on the June 1994 boundary map (NM–TGP 80,000) and described in a deed filed at 8:22 a.m. on June 3, 1994, in the Chase County Register of Deeds (Book L–106, pages 328–339). If the map and the written description differ, the written description must be followed, but the Secretary may make small map fixes after a survey and adjust the boundaries. The map is on file and open for public inspection at National Park Service offices.
