Title 16 › Chapter 9— FISH AND WILDLIFE SERVICE › § 742d
The Secretary must keep investigating fish and wildlife, create and share information, and send regular reports to the public, the President, and Congress. Those reports must cover how fish and fish products are produced and reach markets (including foreign products that affect domestic fisheries); the numbers and biological needs of fish and wildlife; how fish products compete economically with other goods; statistics on commercial and sport fishing, wildlife, and refuge acquisition; ways to improve production, marketing, and education for fishing and wildlife; and any other related matters the Secretary thinks are important.
