Title 16 › Chapter 9— FISH AND WILDLIFE SERVICE › § 754
Starting July 2, 1942, officers and crews on U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service vessels can be paid commuted rations up to $1 per man per day under rules set by the Secretary of the Interior. The money may be paid, with proper vouchers, to the person running the ship’s mess, and section 5911 of title 5 does not require taking deductions from salaries for quarters and rations provided on those vessels.
