Support a coordinated, cross-agency effort to stop wildlife trafficking and to protect wild elephants, rhinoceroses, and other species at risk from poaching. Break up criminal networks that profit from the illegal wildlife trade, stop poaching as a way to earn money in focus countries, work with communities and foreign governments to fight poaching, and base U.S. assistance on careful analysis of threats and partners’ willingness and ability to help.
