§7810 Authorization of Appropriations

Summary

Authorizes $300,000 to be appropriated each year for fiscal years 2017 through 2021 from funds available to the Secretary and the Secretary of State to carry out this chapter and to pay the United States’ share to the Commission under Article 15 of the South Pacific Fisheries Convention. If money is available and allowed by law, the Secretary or the Secretary of State can give help, including grants, to developing countries and international groups so they can meet their duties under the Convention. They can also transfer funds to foreign governments and to international or non‑governmental organizations, including the Commission, for those purposes.
