The Secretary of the Interior must survey Jamestown Island, parts of Williamsburg, the Yorktown battlefield, and roads, to identify land for Colonial National Historical Park. The battlefield area may not exceed 2,500 acres and connecting strips 500 feet wide. The Secretary advises the President, who proclaims boundaries and may later change them; additions only if land is donated or bought, not taken by condemnation.
