Title 16 › Chapter 102— COASTAL HABITAT CONSERVATION › § 8304
Not later than 1 year after December 11, 2024, and each year after, the Secretary, through the Director of the Service, must send a report to the House Appropriations and Natural Resources Committees and to the Senate Appropriations and Environment and Public Works Committees, and post the report on the Service website. Each report must review, by region and nationwide, the Coastal Program’s work on coastal ecosystems, progress in finding the main threats to priority coastal areas and the conservation actions to address them, and the outlook and results for protecting, restoring, and improving those ecosystems. The report must also give numbers on landscapes protected/restored/enhanced, show funds spent or leveraged, describe adaptive management used, and note any new challenges or data gaps.
