Title 16 › Chapter 12A— TENNESSEE VALLEY AUTHORITY › § 831q
Lets the Secretary of the Army, the Secretary of the Interior, or the Board take land and get rights to use land and water needed to build Cove Creek Dam and its reservoir. They can make deals with states, counties, cities, agencies, railroads, utilities, and private parties to move tracks, roads, bridges, mills, ferries, power plants, or any other things that must be removed. After the dam, transmission line, and power house are built, the Corporation will run them as part of the Tennessee Valley project to help control floods and aid river navigation.
