Title 16 › Chapter 12B— BONNEVILLE PROJECT › § 832j
All money from selling electricity at the Bonneville project must be paid into the U.S. Treasury, except $500,000 of those receipts must be kept in a separate fund for the administrator to use for emergencies and to keep the project running. Congress may also approve extra Treasury money as needed to carry out this law, including buying and installing equipment and facilities to make, send, and sell electricity.
