Park officers can take any gun, trap, team, horse, or other transport used inside the park to kill, trap, or capture wild animals. They will hold those items while the person is prosecuted. If the person is convicted, the items are taken by the United States as an extra penalty. The Secretary of the Interior manages and records what happens to the seized property.
