Title 18 › Part I— CRIMES › Chapter 61— LOTTERIES › § 1303
Postal Service officers or employees must not act as agents for lotteries, sell lottery tickets, or knowingly mail or deliver letters, packages, postcards, flyers, or other printed items that promote lotteries, gift schemes, or any prize games decided by chance. If they do any of these things — including sending tickets, certificates, or lists of prizes — they must be fined, jailed for up to one year, or both.
