Makes it a crime to force, threaten, trick, or get someone who is drunk or drugged to go aboard certain ships to work. It covers ships that trade between states or with other countries, and U.S. ships on the high seas or on U.S. navigable waters. It is also a crime to keep that person aboard. A person who does this may be fined under federal law, jailed for up to one year, or both.
