The Attorney General can file a civil lawsuit in federal court to stop anyone who is committing or is about to commit a felony under this chapter. The court must act quickly, can order temporary steps to prevent serious ongoing harm while the case is decided, and will hold a hearing. Civil rules apply, but if there is an indictment, criminal rules control discovery.
