Title 18 › Part II— CRIMINAL PROCEDURE › Chapter 221— ARRAIGNMENT, PLEAS AND TRIAL › § 3432
If someone is charged with treason or another crime that can carry the death penalty, they must be given a copy of the indictment and lists of jurors and witnesses, including each person’s address, at least three entire days before the trial, not counting weekends and holidays. The court can refuse to give those lists if it finds, by more evidence than not, that doing so would put someone’s life or safety at risk.
