It is illegal to make, print, or use business cards, notices, posters, flyers, or ads that look like U.S. government obligations or securities, or to attach those cards or ads to such government papers or to U.S. coins. If you do this, you can be fined under federal law. Postal stamps or other proof of postage approved by the U.S. Postal Service are allowed.
