You must not, on purpose, make, copy, sell, or buy for resale any badge, medal, emblem, insignia, or close look‑alike of a veterans’ organization that was set up by Congress or of a group officially recognized as its auxiliary. You also must not print or distribute pictures of those items unless the veterans’ group allows it under its rules. If you break this, you can be fined, jailed for up to six months, or both.
