Allows the Secretary of Commerce to take many actions when making or managing guarantees, deferred participation agreements, and loans under section 1914. The Secretary can require and handle collateral, sell or assign debts, contracts, claims, or other property, and collect or settle amounts owed until they are sent to the Attorney General for suit or collection. The Secretary can fix up, insure, rent, sell, or otherwise deal with real or personal property received, and can acquire, hold, transfer, release, or sign documents to convey any property or interest. The Secretary may also do other acts needed to carry out duties under section 1914. Any mortgage taken as security must be recorded according to state law.
