Summary

Require the standards information center under section 2544 to give the public access to relevant documents and information for reasonable fees set by the Secretary of Commerce. It must tell who and how the federal government, state governments, and important non-government groups take part in international and regional standards groups, conformity-check systems, and related trade agreements (and the rules they use); where to find notices required by article 909 of the NAFTA or the info in those notices; and how federal agencies assess risk, what factors they consider, and how they set protection levels.
