§3003 Congressional Approval of United States Accession to the Convention

Summary

Congress approves the United States joining the Convention. The President may accept the final legal documents that make the Convention official for the U.S. and must give Congress a copy of each such document on the day it becomes available. Neither the Convention taking effect for the U.S. nor the passage of this chapter creates any private right to sue or other remedy unless this chapter or other U.S. laws specifically provide one. Section 2135(a) of this title does not apply to the Convention.
