Congress approves the Dominican Republic–Central America–United States Free Trade Agreement signed August 5, 2004, with Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua, and the administration’s statement submitted June 23, 2005. The President may make the Agreement take effect for any listed country only after he finds that country has taken the required steps and provided for the Agreement to start for itself.
