Within 30 business days after merchandise is seized under the applicable seizure rule, the Commissioner must give people on a list kept by the Commissioner information about the seized goods that matches what Customs gives copyright owners. People eligible are those harmed by violations of 17 U.S.C. 1201(a)(2) or (b)(1) that led to the seizure. The Commissioner must publish the list and any updates in the Federal Register.
