When a country stops being a USMCA country, the other rules in this title and the changes made by it stop applying to that country, except for what follows. If on that date an investigation or enforcement about breaking a protective order under section 1677f(f) (as amended by this title 1) or about an undertaking of that government is still active, the investigation or enforcement can keep going and penalties may still be imposed under section 1677f(f) as amended. Also, if on that date a binational panel review under Article 10.12 of the USMCA or an extraordinary challenge committee review under that article is pending or has been requested.
