Title 2 › Chapter 22— JOHN C. STENNIS CENTER FOR PUBLIC SERVICE TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT › § 1104
Create and run programs that teach people about public service and push more young people to see it as a career. Give training to state and local elected officials and government workers so they do their jobs better and can take on more responsibility. Also train staff who work for Members of Congress so they can serve the public more effectively. Under the law, the Center can make school programs for teens and college students, run training for public servants and congressional staff, build media and communications tools to reach more people, and set up library and research resources. The Board of Trustees decides which programs are most important and how much money each gets.
