The Executive Director of the Office of Compliance must send a detailed, itemized report of the Office’s spending to the Committee on House Administration of the House of Representatives, the Committee on Rules and Administration of the Senate, and the Appropriations Committees of both the House and the Senate. The report is due within 60 days after each half-year period ends. The half-year periods are October 1 through March 31 and April 1 through September 30, starting in fiscal year 2014. The report must say who was paid (individuals can be identified without giving their names), list items bought with quantity and price, describe services with time spent and who was paid (name, title, amount), and show amounts appropriated, received, spent, and any unspent balances. The report must also include any extra information those committees require. The Executive Director may leave out information that would break the Office’s confidentiality rules.
