Title 2 › Chapter 5— LIBRARY OF CONGRESS › § 183a
The Librarian of Congress must accept, preserve, and make available an oral history of the House of Representatives told by its Members and former Members. The United States Association of Former Members of Congress or another private organization may compile and update it, voluntarily or by contract, and the Librarian may get their help or hire them. "Oral history" means personal recollections recorded by interviews, transcripts, audio, video, or other suitable forms.
