Immediate family of a firefighter, law enforcement, rescue or ambulance crew member, or other public safety officer killed on duty can ask their Representative or Senator for a flag flown over the Capitol and a sympathy certificate, given free and signed by the Speaker and the Representative, or by the President pro tempore and the Senator.
