Pay money from the Fund, except amounts held aside under the Fund’s rules, to the families of Detective John Michael Gibson and Private First Class Jacob Joseph Chestnut: 50% to Gibson’s widow and children and 50% to Chestnut’s widow and children. Also, under the Fund’s rules, additional payments may be made to families of other United States Capitol Police employees killed on duty or to employees who suffered serious injuries on duty.
