§1952 Payments From Fund for Families of Detective Gibson and Private First Class Chestnut and Certain Other United States Capitol Police Employees

Summary

Pay money from the Fund to the families of Detective John Michael Gibson and Private First Class Jacob Joseph Chestnut. Fifty percent of the Fund money goes to Gibson’s widow and children. Fifty percent goes to Chestnut’s widow and children. Money set aside for subsection (b) is not included, and payments must follow the rules under section 1954. In addition to those splits, and under the rules in section 1954(b), Fund money may also be paid to families of other United States Capitol Police employees killed on duty or to employees who sustained serious line-of-duty injuries.
