§2216 Food Service Operations

Summary

The Architect of the Capitol, through the Chief Executive Officer, must set up a restaurant and other food services inside the Capitol Visitor Center, including catering and vending. The Architect may hire a contractor to run these services, and contracts already in effect on October 20, 2008 remain valid. All net profits and any contractor commissions must go into the Capitol Visitor Center Revolving Fund established under section 2231 of this title. Section 5104(c) of title 40 does not apply to these activities.
