Title 2 › Chapter 12— CONTESTED ELECTIONS › § 391
The official who takes a deposition must say the witness was sworn and that the record is correct. They must seal the deposition and any papers in an envelope labeled with the contested election case and “Deposition of [name]” and file it with the Clerk within thirty days. The official must tell the parties after filing. Anyone can get a copy by paying reasonable charges not more than the local U.S. district court allows.
