No later than 180 days after December 20, 2019, and at least once a year after that, the Comptroller General must send the congressional intelligence committees a report on cybersecurity and surveillance threats to Congress. The report must give statistics on attacks or spying that exposed private, nonpublic communications or other personal data of Members of Congress (Senators, Representatives, Delegates, and the Resident Commissioner) and their immediate families or staff. The Comptroller General must consult the Director of National Intelligence, the Secretary of Homeland Security, the House Sergeant at Arms, and the Senate Sergeant at Arms and Doorkeeper. The report should be unclassified but may include a classified annex and redactions to protect sources and personal information.
