Title 2 › Chapter 17— CONGRESSIONAL BUDGET OFFICE › § 606
Lets the Director of the Congressional Budget Office, if funds are available, get rid of surplus or obsolete personal property by sending it to other agencies, donating it, selling it, trading it in, or throwing it away. Money from sales or trade‑ins must be added to CBO operating funds and may be used to buy the same or similar property in the fiscal year received and the next. Applies to fiscal years beginning after September 30, 1996.
