The Senate Sergeant at Arms, with approval from the Senate Committee on Rules and Administration, may provide extra office space, equipment, and services for a Senator in that Senator’s State after the President declares a disaster or emergency under the Stafford Act. Costs must be paid from the Sergeant at Arms’ contingent fund on approved vouchers. Effective June 12, 1997.
