The Secretary of the Senate may use the Senate contingent fund, starting with the fiscal year ending September 30, 1982, to obtain a professional archivist from the General Services Administration. The archivist’s services must be reimbursable and can be obtained only with approval from the General Services Administration and the Committee on Rules and Administration.
