§10008 State Reports

Summary

Each year, a State that gets money under this program must send a report to the Secretary when and how the Secretary requires. The report explains what the State did with the funds. The report must cover eight things: how the money was used and how it was given out; how many jobs the Governor estimates were saved or created and what tax increases the Governor estimates were avoided; progress on fixing unequal access to highly qualified teachers, building a statewide student data system, and making reliable tests for English learners and students with disabilities; tuition and fee increases at public in‑State colleges and any steps taken to limit those increases; whether in‑State enrollment rose, fell, or stayed the same (including Pell Grant students); and details for each modernization, renovation, or repair project, including amounts awarded and project costs.
