§1032b Application Requirements

Summary

To get a grant or contract under this program, an eligible consortium must send an application to the Secretary at the time, in the way, and with the information the Secretary requires. The application must describe the project and say how it will either build a long-term partnership that links teacher preparation with high-need schools using modern digital tools and content, or change how colleges and schools of education teach classroom technology integration, including universal design. The application must show each partner’s commitment (including money) and leadership support, explain each partner’s role, say how a State or local education agency will fit the project into any existing tech plan, describe how the project will keep going after Federal funds stop, show how it uses State teacher and student technology standards, and include an evaluation plan with benchmarks to check progress.
