Title 20 › Chapter 28— HIGHER EDUCATION RESOURCES AND STUDENT ASSISTANCE › Subchapter VI— INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS › Part B— Business and International Education Programs › § 1130
Aims to strengthen the country’s economy by improving international skills and public awareness about the global nature of business. It says business schools, language and area study programs, international affairs programs, public and private groups, and U.S. businesses should work together. Right now, there are few connections between what businesses need and what colleges and other organizations offer. Local trade groups and state commerce offices are not being used enough to link universities and business. The goal is to grow U.S. ability in international understanding and trade by giving suitable international education and training to business people at different career stages. It also supports both school-based and non-school training that helps U.S. businesses succeed in the global economy.
