Title 20 › Chapter 43— AMERICAN FOLKLIFE PRESERVATION › Subchapter II— VETERANS’ ORAL HISTORY › § 2143
The Librarian of Congress may ask for and accept money and other gifts to run the oral history program under section 2142. A special gift account for that program is set up in the Treasury among the Library of Congress accounts. Regardless of other laws, donations for the program must go into that account, be used only for the program, and gifts not given for the program may not be put into it.
