Title 20 › Chapter 45— CAREER EDUCATION AND CAREER DEVELOPMENT › Subchapter II— GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING ACTIVITIES AND PROGRAMS › § 2533
The Secretary of Education must create or pick an office inside the Department to run this part of the law. That office must carry out the program, share information about the guidance and counseling field and about federal (and when possible state and local) counseling activities, and advise the Secretary on how to coordinate counseling work across federal, state, and local programs. The Secretary may set aside up to 5 percent of the money provided under this part to pay for the office.
