Title 20 › Chapter 65— NATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION › § 5510
Provides money to the Environmental Protection Agency: up to $12,000,000 for each of fiscal years 1992 and 1993, up to $13,000,000 for fiscal year 1994, and up to $14,000,000 for each of fiscal years 1995 and 1996. Each year the money must be split: 25% for the Office of Environmental Education, 25% to run the environmental education and training program, 38% for environmental education grants, 10% to support the National Environmental Education and Training Foundation, and 2% for awards under section 5507(e). Some of the funds can be given to the Foundation to match private or state and local contributions and to pay for administrative services under section 5509(d).
