Defines the exact land in the District of Columbia that counts as the John F. Kennedy Center “building and site” and “grounds.” Those terms mean the land where the Center sits, bounded on the east by the west face of the Inner Loop Freeway retaining walls and curbs, on the south by the north face of the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge approach retaining walls and curbs, on the west by the east face of Rock Creek Parkway retaining walls and curbs, and on the north by the south curbs of New Hampshire Avenue and F Street. The area is shown on map number 844/82563 dated April 20, 1994, amended by map 844/82563A dated May 22, 1997, and kept for public inspection at the National Capital Region office of the National Park Service. When the Kennedy Center Plaza project (authorized by section 76q–1) is finished, the Board must work with the Secretary of Transportation to update the map on file.
