The Treasury Secretary must create and run a pilot national public service multimedia campaign to improve financial literacy in the United States, after reviewing the Commission’s recommendations and as part of the national strategy. For each fiscal year with authorized funding, the Secretary must report to the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs; the Senate Committee on Appropriations; the House Committee on Financial Services; and the House Committee on Appropriations about how the campaign is being carried out and the state of financial literacy.
