Title 21 › Chapter 25— MISCELLANEOUS ANTI-DRUG ABUSE PROVISIONS › Subchapter II— NATIONAL METHAMPHETAMINE INFORMATION CLEARINGHOUSE › § 2013
NMIC must help share information about what works against methamphetamine. It must run a toll-free phone line and a website with a searchable database. The site must cover things like short- and long-term effects, treatment and prevention (including programs for drug‑endangered children), grant opportunities, a way for qualified groups to submit items, a law-enforcement-only section with strategies and training, public access to non-restricted material, and any other useful information the Council adds. When a qualified group sends something to be posted, the Council must review it within 30 days to see if it can be posted and whether it should go in the restricted law-enforcement section (in consultation with the Attorney General). Within 45 days of submission, the Council must either post the item or tell the sender why it will not be posted and what changes might allow posting.
