Title 21 › Chapter 7— PRACTICE OF PHARMACY AND SALE OF POISONS IN CONSULAR DISTRICTS IN CHINA › § 203
U.S. citizens who want to work as pharmacists in U.S. consular districts in China must file a sworn application with the consul. The form must give the applicant’s name and age, where and how long they studied pharmacy, their experience compounding prescriptions under a licensed pharmacist, and any pharmacy school name and location. They must also prove good moral character and that they are not addicted to alcohol or narcotics. Applicants must be at least 21 years old. They need at least 4 years’ pharmacy practice or 3 years’ training under a licensed pharmacist. Graduates of a pharmacy school recognized by the proper state, territorial, District of Columbia, or U.S. possession board and in good standing may practice by presenting their diploma.
